As always October and November were very busy months for Purkal Stree Shakti Samiti. We participated in several exhibitions during this period.
Our entry into the Mumbai market through the IMC Ladies Wing bazaar for Women Entrepreneurs was a roaring success. Held at the Taj President, Mumbai this expo had fantastic foot falls and sales.
Dastkar Nature Bazaar was shifted this year to the Crafts Museum. The new venue and the difficulty in parking dampened the sales figures for everyone who participated, on the other hand, we did extremely well at the AWA Mela.
For these winter shows, we introduced woolen stoles and felt Toys. Both these products did quite well at the Melas. |
